Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and deploy frontend and backend components of our time tracking software.
- Build scalable and efficient server-side applications using Node.js.
- Implement RESTful APIs for seamless communication between the frontend and backend systems.
- Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure the best user experience for our customers.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of the software.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience working with Node.js in a professional setting.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with modern frontend development tools and libraries such as Redux, Webpack, and Babel.
- Familiarity with server-side technologies like Express.js and databases such as MongoDB or MySQL.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
- Experience with GraphQL or other API query languages.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
